There is a reason why the GOP will fold....
...they are negotiating with an ice-cold man who green lighted the SEALs not once, but twice.

The Republicants are dealing with the fucking Godfather and they know it.

1. As I have often said...
This President cut his political teeth in CHICAGO.

Think about that.

13. Exactly, and it's not being a bot to realize that Obama knows how to handle
things better than keyboard warriors. Everyone who critiques his way of doing things is doing that based on some experience of theirs which doesn't measure up. Call me an Obamabot or whatever, but I'm thinking he has a better plan for dealing with anything than whoever gets on DU to just say he should do this or that.

16. Hey treestar! I'm with you, I used to take offense at the term Obamabot.
But I read a beautiful article from a fellow "bot", who has embraced the term, and so do I. He makes mincemeat of his critics everytime, and they just keep moving the goalposts. It's kinda funny to watch. :hi:

4. K&R! If you can still catch Lawrence O'Donnell tonight, you should.
He had an incredible segment, outlining how President Obama beat the Republicans, showing them who the adult is in the room.

Incredible show every liberal should see.

5. So Does This Mean That Those DU'ers That Were Just A Day Ago Bad Mouthing ......
the President are now back on his side again? What if he includes SS, Medicare/caid in the deal? What then?

Just like here in Chicago we have many fair weather fans that are only on board when the Chicago team is winning.

8. Nope.
Still against Medicare cuts by any name, means, or fashion. He wants to play hardball with the Rethuglicans and force a default, then fine, as long as he repeals the Bush tax cuts for the rich and leaves Medicare and SS alone.

Otherwise, I will pull one of the many knives he stuck in our backs, and hand it back to him.

14. The one thing that would push them to a deal is their owners breathing down their neck.
Because they have much more to lose from a default than a modest tax increase.

but forgot about the order for the Seals taking out the pirates!
