Why I Would Rather Have a "Short-Term" Deal

I actually would like this to keep coming up and raging on and on every so many months. First, it will take the constant shit flying into fan for another year and a half to get it through the head of this ignorant nation just what is at stake. Secondly, I WANT it to be part of the presidential and senate and rep debates. I WANT Obama painted into a corner after his election with that same "the Amurekan people have spoken" crap we hear from all of these politicians. In other words, it makes Obama defend SS/Medicare, etc. and after re-election (he would win on that in a landslide), he could not do the "the people want me" to slash and burn my way through these programs. Quite frankly, I think that his ultimate plan in a second term is to do a lot of gutting to these programs; but having the people vote on it will give chills to every politician who touches it and goes along with him. I DO NOT WANT this to neatly go away. I want him and all the rest of them to have to face US!!!
