Passing the health care bill could get us all new Senators and Reps and a new President.
When the people realize they are mandated to buy insurance from predatory monopolies who are going to keep on raising rates, they are going to be pissed.

Part of the rationale for passing it is that Congress would be forced to bring these firms into line, because otherwise they will lose their jobs.

But does anyone honestly think these incumbents will have the guts to go against the insurance companies? lol.

Maybe the strategy should be to prepare to primary incumbents based on objections to this health care bill. DFA needs to get all its ducks in a row. It could be a great vehicle to get people who are not beholden to lobbyists in charge of our Government.

Its going to be anti-incumbent for ages. We need to figure out who the new blood is going to be and make sure we get our guys in instead of Rahm's people.

4. It's hard to imagine how the "Beltway Bubble Brothel" fails to see this.
Our bought-and-paid-for-by-Big-Greed-Inc. "representatives" are so out of touch with regular people that they just have no conception of ordinary people's lives. They truly believe that their "constituents" are the same lobbyists from Big Greed Inc. that go to the same beltway parties that they go to, that go to the same swanky restaurants that they go to, that pay for their boondoggle golfing vacations and luxury box seats and even their sex and drugs, that buy their re-elections for them, that live in the same pricey D.C. neighborhoods, that wear the same corporate whore uniform that House and Senate rules require them to wear on the floor of the corporations' House. To what little extent they actually understand real people, they hold them in complete disdain and contempt, much preferring the company of corporate whores like themselves.

If it works at all, and people are happy with their medical care, the details won't matter.

Don't kid yourself, if you crack open the door, the USA will become 100% financially FASCIST.

7. The people in the WH don't seem to care, so maybe we should just accept it or see if we can get
citizenship in another country. When the Republicans get back in charge, it will officially be the demise of this nation.
