NOBODY is as experienced in the Presidency as Barack Obama is now
Edited on Mon Jul-18-11 04:57 PM by Peacetrain
No one.. nada.. except for Jimmy C (I forgot to add George the elder who is also a one termer) the other living Presidents have aged out on 2 terms.. so you can feel good about voting for the most experienced person possible running for President in 2012.

No one has his qualifications.. and his accomplishments to run on.

He has dealt with the realities.. and knows the terrain.

Everyone else is just guessing

EDIT TO ADD... this was the lunch conversation today. I am liking where my friends are headed in the next election cycle

EDIT TO ADD: I took it at face value when I say the other living Presidents beside Jimmy C aging out at 2 terms, people would understand that two terms is constitutionally the length of time any President can serve. But that is what I get for making that ASS U ME (tion)

outside the internet, who could care less about "politics". And that's probably a good thing. ;)

has more experience.

Furthermore how do you define experience - maybe working with the Wall Street crowd, the MIC that Obama has been working with is not such a good thing...Finally, Obama's experience vis a vis Capital Hill was very limited (less than one term in the Senate) yet he ran as being from outside the Beltway during his campaign and promised to bring change to the way business was being done - i.e., transparency. We got neither change (more wars, same investments in the MIC) and no transparency.
