Elizabeth Warren Is A Massive President Obama supporter. |
|
It just goes to show that while so many "progressives" or Dem/liberals netizens bash him. She seems to be in line with the President and clearly outlined to the American people on Rachel's show that the President cares. The President wants to help. The President is being blocked by Repubs and Teabaggers. They are the ones who are holding the nation hostage and helping along retarded growth. Not the President and never him. Apparently every legislation, all the funding for the organization Obama created and put Elizabeth Warren at the head---Republicans and Teabaggers have haulted, stalled, or made a concerted effort to outright destroy.
We need to see who the enemy is and it's not each other. It's Teabaggers AND Congressional Republicans----why do I state them both. Because they are not the same. I think we have to say they are absolutely NOT the same!

Look into it. Warren has loads of it, as do almost all other Harvard profs.
It has zero to do with intelligence or integrity, both of which she has in vast quantities.

|
Edited on Mon Jul-18-11 10:06 PM by vaberella
She shouldn't be afraid to speak candidly about the President and clearly. She's criticized the President in the past and the actions that have taken place. She doesn't have to bash to be critical---as so many on DU have said. So she should be able to freely state her opinion, even if critical of her boss. And she's talked about encouraging discussions she's had with the president. Why would she change? Ridiculous.
It would seem to me that you can't handle a positive regard of Obama by someone you think is great and on your side. Since you don't believe Obama is on your side---so then you now marginalize her statements as being "talking points" of sorts.

IMHO she wanted the job and was not going to publicly fault Obama.

don't you get it? If she was trashing the president and saying what a disaster he was, she'd be "speaking her mind." But showing so much support for this president and saying things that make sense to even a 4 year old (that the commission would not even exist without the president and his support) means that she is suddenly unable to speak her mind. Even though she no longer works for the person "silencing" her. :eyes:
You just have to , man. Some of this stuff is just surreal.

He said so during the battle on them and didn't want to vote on them. But the bailouts were in the works since April 2008 or something under Bush and they had to be adhered to, so he said we had to hold up those contracts. Get the facts. Any bank bailout said to be pushed by Obama---is false and created by Repubs...everyone knows this.

64. Why do you automatically assume she's only being diplomatic? |
|
It reflects YOUR attitude about the President that you project it onto Warren.
Sounds to me like you simply don't believe she could say what she said and actually MEAN it.
Why is that?

if she wants to get into politics, as appears to be the case, it would be silly to burn bridges with Obama. He can only help her.

94. No issue here to be burning bridges over in the first place. |

She's happy, Obama's happy, those praying for a rift between the two, not so much.

Including so many people that this board loves to hold up as some "potential liberal challenger."
Have fun "thinking" your way into THAT denial.

infiltrators like Hamsher call some Dems "the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet" and other Dems back her up.
It's true. We shouldn't be belittling each other. The Republicans are THE enemy here.
And if only more people could see the example set by Dr. Warren rather than belittling HER by assuming she does not or cannot mean what she says.

What did he put a spell on her or something? She can speak out against him if she wants? Why can't you admit that she actually supports him?
