Roy Moore’s son charged with DUI, drug possession
MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The 20-year-old son of former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore is accused of driving under the influence and drug possession.

Caleb Moore was stopped on suspicion of speeding shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday in Crenshaw County.
Trooper spokesman Kevin Cook said he was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding. He was being held Monday on $8,500 bond.

Roy Moore said he couldn’t discuss details because his son had applied to be treated as a youthful offender.

Roy Moore is president of the Foundation of Moral Law and has formed an exploratory committee to run for president. He was removed from office as chief justice for refusing to move a Ten Commandments monument from the court lobby.

1. The judge, apparently, did not teach his son the 10 C's very well, did he?

2. Don't think speeding and DUI
are covered, nor are drugs.

One of the reasons the Ten Commandments are a pretty silly "legal system".

8. Those aren't but he should be stoned to death
for not honoring his father ;-) I'm sure daddy Moore would agree with this.

3. I always love it when "law and order" judges
(or their families) get nailed for serious lawbreaking, then they go all commie pinko, "soft on crime" liberal.

Roy Moore said he couldn’t discuss details because his son had applied to be treated as a youthful offender.

We have kids in this country serving life sentences for crimes committed as young as 12, but when it is the child of the rich/powerful/political, then "compassion" comes out of the woodwork.

5. Yeah, "how could you do this to me!" Would be his dad's first
reaction. Probably second and third reaction as well.

6. According to Roy Moore, the charges should be thrown out because
The Ten Commandments don't include DUI and drug possession. Who needs more law than that?

:sarcasm:

9. 20 years old? Youthful offender?
I believe I've seen 14 year olds being tried as adults - maybe right there in Alabama. This guys a clown and his karma just kicked his ass.

10. By GW Bush standards, he is a toddler. When one is "entitled", "youth" is assumed to be nonending.
