Everything on Table--but why in a brown paper bag????
Edited on Tue Jul-19-11 11:46 AM by DemocracyInaction
You don't have to look far to get a detailed explantion from repubs as to what they have on the "table"----there's is absolutely no revenue hikes in any form on the table and they will sit there and list them for you point by point if you insist.

Obama (and the zillion freakin' "gangs" negotiating hell knows what over the last months), tells us that a) all is on the table and when pushed they admitted that b)entitlements are on the table. BUT by Christ they won't tell you even broad generalities what that involves. Raising the age of Medicare to 65 yrs. and one month and jacking up the price of premiums by 50 cents over then next 400 years is one thing; raising the age to 104, jacking up premiums to everything you own per month and allowing the doc to only stick a bandage on your cancer (as long as it's a generic bandage) is another thing!!!! My anger is Obama and all of them putting all of us through this crap while hiding everything that's "on the table" in a brown paper bag so we do not have a clue what he is bargaining away! Nothing to see here....move on...and shut your liberal assed mouth............All I know is that one of these parties is going to have a senior citizen (and those around 50ish)blow their heads off in 2012. This isn't something that people just shrug and forget because their entire lives are at stake!

2. You're right
The details are pretty much nonexistent.

I don't know if you got to see Carney's exchange with the Press a few days ago....somebody had posted the back and forth here.

It was a joke.

on an emergency basis, within a few WEEKS, after closed-door meetings from which the Americans they supposedly represent are excluded.

And they will emerge from those rooms with a done deal which they will immediately pass on an EMERGENCY basis.

They are thieves, and they are getting away with it.
