Obama is building quite a legacy for himself and it's not good at all
- Extending the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.
- Supporting the extension of the Patriot Act.
- Continuing to spend tens of billions of dollars a year to maintain resources in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- Proposing the largest defense budget since WW2.
- Engaging in a new war against Libya and increasing drone attacks against countries like Pakistan and Yemen.
- Appointing a JP Morgan Chase bankster to be his Chief of Staff.
- Failing to investigate and prosecute Bush Administration war crimes.
- Signing an executive order creating a formal system of indefinite detention.
- Proposing trillions in spending cuts that will impact programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid even though these programs have been the bedrock of the Democratic Party for decades.

And people wonder why the left is angry with Obama. I can tell you this, if Obama agrees to massive spending cuts to programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, it will be the last straw for many people. People have had enough and they're tired of the bullshit from a person who was supposed to represent Democratic values.

Obama better not give in to the the Republicans on this debt ceiling debate because it will likely cost him the Presidency in 2012.

Contact the White House and tell them not to cave on the debt ceiling: http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

Obama needs to make a stand right here. No cuts whatsoever to programs like SS, Medicare and Medicaid. Don't balance the budget on the backs of the poor and the middle class at a time when the wealthy and corporations are doing phenomenally well. The American people have had enough and don't want these cuts. They also want taxes raised on the wealthy.

No cuts whatsoever.

So it's "silly" because you believe it will not be funded?

14. Sure his adminstration has done good things...
One would certainly hope so.

However, in the big picture it is a matter of the overall balance, and the impact of individual things.

I won't rehash the whole health care debate again, but sufficevit to say it did some good thing, but also ultimately made it more diffucult to get the more fundamental changes that will be necessary.

That goes for a whole host of issues.

16. His legacy will be damaging the Party that elected him, hurting the poor and disenfranchised,
and a record of non-management of government rivaled only by the likes of Bush, Reagan and Andrew Johnson. I am embarrassed that I voted this into office.
