He had signed the Cut, Cap and Balance Pledge but yesterday announced he was going to vote for Boehner's legislation and his comment on his Facebook page makes it appear he's even willing to vote for Reid's plan.
"Dan, My family and I voted for you because of your principles. Had we wanted compromise we would have voted for your opponent. A NO vote is not a vote for Pelosi, it's just a NO vote. I believed in you, not to be suckered in to politics as usual in Washington. I'm not alone in these feelings, many of my TEA party, and TEA party Republican friends feel the same way."
"Dan, you're making a huge mistake if you think your "food-for-thought" has merit. A "No" vote from you does not mean the same thing as a "No" vote from Nancy Pelosi. If you vote for a debt limit increase, your constituents will not give you a second chance next election. I would reconsider your decision...in my humble opinion..."
"Dan, I thought you pledged not to raise the debt ceiling except under the circumstances of the CCB. (
http://www.cutcapandbalanceact.com/house.php) It shows a photo of you there. If you didn't pledge, you better let them know ASAP. If you did pledge and don't vote consistent with that pledge, you can go to hell."
