Thank you, House Republicans - you have allayed one of my biggest fears!

I was very concerned that, with control of one house of Congress, you would have just enough power to jam the President and Democratic Senate, but not enough to be held responsible for actually accomplishing anything.

As a result, I feared that you would be able to convince voters that the failure to get anything done was the fault of the Democrats and if Republicans were just given MORE power, you would be able to fix this mess.

But you got cocky, overplayed your hands and showed your ugly butt to the country. And everyone can see, plain as day, that even when you're completely in control of something, you are utterly incapable of managing it.

Your fact-deprived, cruel, stubborn and arrogant approach to governing over the past few months, combined with your Keystone Cops performance of the past few days has demonstrated to the world that you can't be trusted to watch your neighbor's house for a weekend, much less control two Houses of Congress and the White House.

So thank you, Republicans for making it plain that you can't handle even a little power ...and that the last thing we need is a Senate and White House run the way you run the House of Representatives.
