5. In my opinion it would have to be specific and backed with firmness
Promote American jobs instead of using free trade to encourage outsourcing
Support for small biz
Supporting workers and unions
Real Wall St. reform
Protect SS and medicare and medicaid

...things like that

Then again, if Republicans gain control of the Senate and keep the House, they would be able to remove the insurance mandate on HCR, which will make you happy. Or they would repeal HCR, which would make PUMA Jane "Kill The Bill" Hamster Face happy.

... independents want President Obama to compromise with Republicans as much as they want Republicans to compromise with President Obama, which is exactly what you don't want (except when it comes to agreeing 100% with Republicans and teabaggers on the insurance mandate).
