Well now we know the price to sell out a woman's right to choose.
I am so furious I can hardly type this.

I'm going to leave a message for my senators that if this is in the final bill I will NOT EVER vote for any of these jokers again.

If Obama passes this I will answer every poll I ever get with an STRONGLY DISAPPROVE. I will NEVER vote for him again, nor contribute any funds. I will STRONGLY support any challenger, even if it has to be Dennis Kucinich who I CANT STAND.

UNFORGIVABLE.

1. I feel your anger and frustration
I keep thinking, he is a smart man, he knows what he is doing, I trust his decisions, this is why I campaigned and voted for him, I keep holding out voicing any negative opinions, but he is making it hard for me to remain silent.

3. Obama is BFFE with 'cured' ex-gay Donnie McClurkin
and had Rick "execute Ugandan gays" Warren to give the invocation at his inaugural.

LGBTs have really got to know Obama.

4. It's a small price to pay for a good signing ceremony.
It's all about "making history," don't you know.

5. Perhaps we can schedule another drone strike during the signing ceremony
people just love to see more civilians killed under the pretext of fighting Al-Qaeda. It worked for Bill Clinton when he bombed an aspirin factory in Sudan.

8. They might as well be signing their own death warrants.
Why does this feel like a Republican celebration? Health Insurance companies with guaranteed suckers...access to abortion limited...Big pharma crowing with joy over no importation...Is this really what I gave money for and canvassed for and spent my time advocating? Is this what victory feels like? Why do I feel like crying?

Hillary would never let this happen. Wow. I think I made a mistake.

7. Women still have a right to choose and abortion is still legal. They
just have to pay for themselves or get insurance that covers it without federal assistance.

12. Odds are they will take it out of a bunch of insurance policies.
And make it a rider for everyone. At least some will.

Which would make Obama's promise that our insurance would stay the same a lie.

The well off can always get abortions no matter what happens, it's POOR WOMEN that always get screwed.

25. ...because it is okay to treat women's health issues as second class and
as expendable for the sake of right-wing ideology.

an ideology that is grounded in non-scientific, non-medical bullshit from corrupt religious/politico leaders who use their hatred of women as a way to bolster their power among the equally stupid and hateful.

why not exclude any coverage for pregnancy, too? let women pay for that out of pocket since that's a choice, not a real medical issue, right?

and why bother to cover children who are the product of those choices to get pregnant?

just let them pay for treatment themselves or get insurance that covers treatment without federal assistance. no biggie, really. children can't even vote. throw them under the bus.

20. The key to this issue with this president...
lies in his campaign speeches and press asides when he repeatedly danced away from the subject of abortion with the comment: "...it is a MORAL issue."

This man has never gotten close to any controversial subject...not anytime during his political history.

Healthcare for all is controversial.
Abortion for those requiring it is controversial.

Given his druthers, he would probably sign this healthcare bill with: "PRESENT."

I was appalled when I heard that.

26. Um, no. They are horrified by Nelson's betrayal. They think it's a victory for us.
Because what it is, is a compromise. And as a compromise, it is ideal to neither side.
