Which person do you want to be the republican candidate?
Of course, I want Obama to win in a land side against the republican nominee. I'm just curious if anyone has an opinion on which candidate they would like to see run as the republican candidate. I'm not necessarily asking who you think will win the nomination. They are all so awful my moderate republican father has just given up. He has already decided to vote for Obama again. I have only included people who have formally announced their running. I included Andy Martin, Jonathon Sharkey and Jimmy McMillan because they are running as republican candidates. I know that they are people who run all the time for office and don't have a chance.

Michelle Bachman Congress Minnesota
Fred Karger Political Consultant
Herman Cain Business Executive
Newt Gingrich Former Speaker of the House
Thaddeus McCotter Congress Michigan
Jon Huntsman Former Governor Utah
Gary Johnson Former Governor of New Mexico
Ron Paul Congress Texas
Rick Perry Governor Texas
Buddy Roemer Former Governor of Louisiana
Mitt Romney Former Governor of Massachusetts
Rick Santorum Former Senator Pennsylvania
Jonathon Sharkey
Andy Martin
Jimmy McMillan

7. To the contrary...
Some of his serial critics do not act like Democrats (80% of whom support him).

8. I've heard the same argument against both Clintons.
From supporting NAFTA to a lack of banking reform, people are very upset that the Clintons are more "triangulating centrists" than true democrats.

11. The most unelectable candidate,
to maximize Obama's odds.

Otherwise, of the current candidates, I think the least objectionable one is Romney
