News Corp News Conference on "Why The GOP Must Win White America For Victory in 2012"
September 02, 2011 6:10 pm ET by Oliver Willis

Peter Brimelow, a columnist for News Corp.'s MarketWatch, has been announced as one of three speakers at a press conference discussing "Why the GOP Must Win White America for Victory in 2012."

The press release explains:

On September 9, The National Policy Institute will present a comprehensive, yet simple, strategy for a Republican victory in 2012--Win the White vote. "The Majority Strategy" is based on the GOP expanding its traditional White voting base, as opposed to continuing its failed "outreach" programs to racial minorities.

Marketwatch must be a piece of shit......that's for sure!

3. Smells like fear to me.
Last ditch effort to get the black man out of office by turning this into a race war by trying to hide their hatred of all poor people and the middle-class, sexual-orientation, hate crime laws, et cetera.

Nice try GOP - "promot the American majority's unique historical, cultural, and biological inheritance--and advances policies that, without prejudicing the legitimate rights of others, fearlessly defends our rights... our heritage."

African-Americans, Gays, Hispanic-Americans, Native-Americans, Asian-Americans, women, children, we know they've always operated "without prejudice"

KnR!

Practically speaking, I'm not sure why anyone who isn't among the most wealthy of this nation would vote for the GOP.

Any middle class or poor person, regardless of race, is voting against themselves by doing so.

8. That's the problem. People vote against their best interest
or choose not to vote at all, all of the time.

In fact, there are even folks here at DU who have said
they are writing someone in.....it's the same kind of
mentality, IMO.

14. Some voters are so blinded by racism that it's all they think about, even
to the exclusion of their best economic interests. The GOP knows that and has been using that ever since Nixon came up with his southern strategy.

11. Dems need to win the White vote too to be victorious in 2012.
Try not winning the White vote and see how many races you win.

13. Don't Dems need to win the Hispanic vote and the African American vote for
victory in 2012? What's the difference between that and saying that the GOP needs to win the white vote? Everybody knows that the GOP base is mostly white whereas minorities generally vote Democrat. It's not rocket science.

The event is being presented by the National Policy Institute (NPI), which describes itself as "promot{ing} the American majority's unique historical, cultural, and biological inheritance--and advances policies that, without prejudicing the legitimate rights of others, fearlessly defends our rights... our heritage." http://mediamatters.org/blog/201109020021

16. So what is it that the GOP is going to do for White People to get their vote?
Edited on Wed Sep-07-11 12:09 PM by FrenchieCat
What do you think they will offer up? Any specific policies that
helps White people so much to the point that they should vote GOP
instead of for Democrats?

17. They are not going to do anything for anyone, regardless of race, except for the rich.
But that's not the point. The GOP is just trying to reach the voters who are most likely to vote for them for whatever reason. At the same time Democrats will be working hard in minority neighborhoods. That's politics for you.

But if you sincerely don't understand the difference, I'm not sure if it can be explained to you.

19. Hi, everyone. I'm a white person. Ask me anything.
But before anyone asks, I'll answer the burning question I know is in all of your minds:

Why no, in fact I'll never vote for the disgustingly evil criminal enterprise that is the Republican Party. Never.

But I will gladly invite the Republican Party to throw their infinite funds at that quickly diminishing, increasingly irrelevant, and ultimately imaginary demographic, because I am certain it will fail with decades of negative repercussions for them, though it is scant justice compared to what they deserve.
