The best way to support Obama in 2012
Re-elect him and elect Democrats to Congress. Don't forget the state offices too.

1. It's not just the best way
it's the ONLY way to not only support President Obama but to start to end the madness of the Republican Tea Party that has infested our political process at all levels.

4. I think that's the plan. The alternative is kind of ugly.
And by "kind of", I mean Bushtacularly horrendous.

5. Yes, cause look at
all Obama accomplished when he had Democrats in Congress.

If you elect conservative Democrats to Congress, the results will be the same as before, a watered down health care bill, a stimulus package that was too small and little else.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

6. Nothing has been accomplished since the reps took over the house
and yes, we need more dems...real dems, not conservadems elected to office.

7. In fact, things are
worse with the Republicans in change. And just having Dems in both Houses of Congress and the White House isn't a panacea.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

8. Besides the fact that Obama's stimulus bill was bigger than what the Cong Dems proposed...
What, exactly, is your alternative? Let the Republicans have it, and burn down the planet?

10. What Democrats are you
referring to? Several I know wanted more. And yes, some conservadems wanted nothing.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

Vote locally and ignore the presidential race.

I live in Arizona and my presidential vote doesn't matter with the electoral college.

Peace,
Tex Shelters

9. With reservations I agree...
It is too late to consider replacing Obama - it would only wreck our hand.

If Obama plays tomorrow night correctly he has a win in his pocket but I'm concerned based on what I'm hearing...

11. It's the only possible way to enact a progressive agenda.
If he has large liberal Democratic majorities, liberal being the key word, and still fails to get progressive legislation, then I'll be in the "Obama is a liberal in disguise!!!" crowd.

Until then, he's dealing with what he has right now.
