If this is a close race, I'm out of this country.
I'm gonna go back to France! I'll work there for a
couple of years, and then I'll retire! I'll have to drag
my husband, but I ain't stayin' here.

Sorry, but ALL of these people scare me very much! :scared:

At least, now some will have a reason to vote for a Pub...
although I ought to warn you, I'll still have access to the Internet,
just won't have to suffer the consequences. Y'all might not even have
an Internet after all is said and done!

2. Yeah. But remember Bush/Gore and Bush/Kerry?

Just when you think the American people have reached the lowest rung on the stupid ladder, they move it into a 6 foot hole.

Granted, one of these clowns gets to debate Obama. Hopefully he will dice and shred with no mercy at all.

3. I heard on NPR today that the GOP is confident about controlling Congress in 2012.
Said they've already got the votes to keep the house and Repub seats in the Senate aren't in question, only Democrats.
All they need is to grab the presidency and they'll have the whole ball game to themselves.

So you know that means they will be playing dark and dirty all the way through.
It's going to be hard to defeat.
Not because they will have the votes necessarily but the the final vote tally may surprisingly come out in their favor.

They couldn't tell the truth to save their own necks.

11. Don't forget Karl Rove's predictions of Republican gains in 2006 and 2008.

12. But we're even hearing TODAY on DU that it won't be any different than now.
If someone truly believes that, they've lost perspective. I'll just put it really, really mildly and leave it at that.

6. I knew I should have taken those Norwegian language lessons!
Norway is my first choice... clean, full of great literature and music... and socialist!

7. Obama will win. I have no doubt.
The question is Congress. Will Obama and Democrats be able to motivate voters to come out in 2012 to vote liberals into Congress? That's the question.

Bush looks like FDR compared to these clowns.

8. They are creepy and crazy. They give me the willies.
I'm not a big fan of Obama's but, God, he does seem like a mix of Einstein and MLK by comparison.

10. I know! And Perry has so many of the same mannerisms...although
he seems even stupider. He didn't answer any question and there was no followup to speak of. Like when he talked about Texas Justice and the death penalty...no one followed up and said..Why is it that your murder rate is so high?

13. I'm with you frenchie...I'm already situated in Paris right now.
And I'm having my mum move to Paris with me and my sister is thinking of relocating to London. So I completely understand what you mean. It's not worth being in the US if the selection that's given is considered close. The US fucks it self up. And no one can say the nation is Liberal when they keep these guys so close.
