1. And the start demanding higher wages, benefits and protections.
When workers are desperate, they'll do anything under any circumstances. Just the way Andrew W. Mellon, Andrew Carnegie and Cornelius Vanderbilt... sorry, I mean the GOP wants it.

2. You have that right!!! But none of this is going to pass unless
he goes out and calls them by their name in the republican's districts. He has to push for this bill harder than he ever pushed for even his own election. If he doesn't fight for it with every ounce of his life, and use his lofty oratory skills, then he will lose the election next year no matter what foolish tool is running on the other side. This is it. He's got to go full monty.

4. All for politics--for shortterm political gain--they would sell their neighbors down the river
force their employees, constituents, and co-workers to sell their houses due to foreclosure just to make sure unemployment stays high prior to the next election.

Repigs HAVE NO OTHER POLITICAL STRATEGY. Repigs HAVE NO OTHER POLITICAL PLAN FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OTHER THAN CUTTING TAXES AND ABOLISHING WORK, HEALTH, FOOD, and ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY REGULATIONS.

The private sector is not hiring, because they don't see demand.

And yet, Republican can only see as far as the election of November 2012. Between now and then, they will continue to shit on the labor force in America in an effort to make the President look bad.

They have nothing else to run on. Nothing.
