The debate is over.
The debate is over. It was a sad example of what America's standards have lowered to. Every one of their candidates stinks, we already knew that but now they stink more than ever. Perry was a sad joke, humiliated. I doubt he is the front runner now.

The high point was Bachman saying that 2012 is it, and only she is smart enough to 'stop' a great achievement for the US, socialized medicine. We are finally joining the civilized world since she has no chance of winning. That is wonderful news. :kick: :pals: :applause: :patriot:

4. On the vaccines for girls
They tore him apart. The look on his face was priceless, like a deer stuck in the headlights. Even Wolfie tried to save him by changing the subject, our media working to keep us safe from facts.

3. You are witnessing the end of the Republican party as we know it.
They are done for, end, dead. The Democratic party will take their place as the "right wing" party and something else will arise in the ashes.

11. Sorry, don't buy it. I can remember lots of dancing on the GOP grave after the 2008 election.
Yes, it was trumpeted that it was all over for the Republican party.

So, how has that worked out?

16. They were forced to rebrand with the tea party label
Even this debate was called the tea party republican debate. Same sad principles, just a fake rebranding effort by Koch/Faux/CNN and other liars.

17. How has it worked out? The Tea Party got out 9% more voters than we did.
The Tea Party got out NINE PERCENT MORE votes than we did. Repeat that. Again. Repeat it. We freaking failed hard in 2010 because we're just defeatists. When Obama assigned a right wing cabinet everyone freaked out (believe me, I wasn't for Obama in the beginning and when that happened I laughed because we started eating our own immediately).

In 2010 only 37% came out to vote, which is in line with past elections (2006 was also a 37% turnout). 9% of that turnout was Tea Baggers. Nine Percent. Effectively 2010 had a voter turnout of something like 28% as far as representation across the board.

The Republican party is gone for, dead. All we have to do is try, and it's over.

6. SOSHULISM?! Oh my god. People caring for each other. It's so wrong!
Socialism is the new Communism.

We're rugged individuals. Every tub's gotta stand on it's own feet. Pull yerself up by yer bootstraps (which breaks the rules of physics, I might add).

8. I don't get their objection to the Affordable Care Act.
I'm no fan of the Act myself (mostly because it didn't cut out the middle-man)... but...

Doesn't the Act leave the door open for states to come up with a better plan?

If so, why doesn't anyone point that out to the governors in the race? If they don't like the Act, they're free to implement a plan they find more suitable.

12. To think that one of those people is going to be the nominee of one of
our two major political parties and be one of two choices for president in 2012 is absolutely mind boggling. And the thought that one of them might actually win the presidential election is terrifying.

13. And Bachmann's answer had nothing to do with the question asked to her which was...
"What would YOU do if a 30-year old man who chose to have no health insurance got sick and ended up in a coma for six months? Who would pay for his care?"

14. Tea party audience cheers letting the uninsured die
Another low for Ron Paul, and the teabaggers, I'm just throwing this in to expose the inhumanity of the "right".

http://www.rawstory.com/rawreplay/2011/09/tea-party-audience-cheers-letting-the-uninsured-die/

“Are you saying society should just let him die?” Blitzer asked.

The audience responded with shouts of “Yes!”
