Well, the Republican death cheer just ensured my Democratic vote for years to come.
The two main parties are clearly very different from each other. President Obama and I strongly disagree on many subjects, but the Republicans seem to be sociopaths. President Obama could personally kick me in the balls every month, and I would still think he was significantly better than any of the Republicans.

1. They are sociopaths and we need to work as well as vote
this may well be our last chance. Call your county democratic central committee, find out where they meet and go and volunteer and add your voice to the mix.

4. The Republican's/Tea Baggers are Bat Shit crazy with absolutely no doubt.
The more scary part is they really don't care about Life of any kind. Everyone for them selves.

5. Thank you. What say the DUers who see no difference between the parties?
Representatives of these people cannot be allowed to hold any office. Any.

6. ^That^
I found that I'm not that afraid of a Republican winning, but I am terrified of their constituency

Reluctantly I have realized I not only have to hold my nose and vote for him, I have to work to get him elected.

Those people cannot be allowed to have elected officials to pressure.

12. Just put yourself in his shoes...
When he ran and made his promises...he was under the impression that he would be working with normal, reasonable people who loved this country and wanted better for everyone. Instead...he's working with people whose only goal is to defeat him and don't care a rip about who suffers.

I'm sure he's had more hate spewed at him than any other president, death threats for him and his family.

I'll vote and work with enthusiasm. No nose holding. Compared to the stench of the other side, Obama smells like roses!!!

16. At the time, i had hoped that he was lying about bipartisanship
to garner votes from "independents", and knew that the GOP were not normal and reasonable. He'd been in the Senate, after all. Because if he actually had that impression, that's not very shrewd. You'd think Biden would diabuse him of that notion, at least.

That said, Obama 2012, or it's the second Great Depression.

7. There is something perverse about the Conservative

I know a family...

Parents hate government and hates taxes, but haven't earned a private sector check since the Ford administration.

Same family where one parent has 2 siblings. Their mother was aging and not in best of health...Two of the siblings are extremely well off, but they opted to have mother dump the little money she had and her land was sold off to one of the siblings children...this mother was put into a home, assisted living...paid for by GOVERNMENT.

10. THANK YOU!!!
I've been saying this for over a year now while everyone whines about how Obama didn't make our every dream come true.

Let's keep in mind that Obama has had to work with racist sociopaths! We should be grateful he's still alive and appreciate everything he has done. Not for nothing is his hair almost completely gray!

We ALL need to stop whining and work our asses off like never before. We are living in a very critical time...not just politics but a race between good and evil.

but I wish they wouldn't. Hopefully they will use the Republicans' insanity against them.

If Dems don't get how high the stakes are, they're worthless.

24. Now that you've "guaranteed" them your support, let the kicking begin:
What little power you had, you now have no more. You've just validated every $h!tty move this Admin. has made, and told them you want more, more, & more. Hell, give Boner that other 2%; he's earned it! And the DEM Party will continue to track far off to the right.

My kids are on medicaid, and I am going to vote against the people cheering for their death.

26. So let's go for 68, 2000, 2010
You may be OK with "purist" stance but most of us can't afford it. Present democratic and Obama plans aren't great BuT CONSIDER THE ALTERNATIVE.

I've lived through let's opt out. I'm too old and tired to deal with this crap again.

Be as committed to your goals and ideals as you can be. But please remember those of us who will be destroyed by more republican power.
