Republicans, here you go again--whining and lying about how 'small business' will be hurt

Supporters of various tax benefits for high- income households often claim that failure to maintain them would have an undue effect on many small businesses. But even assuming a broad definition of “small business,” such claims are often exaggerated or false.

First, critics charge that allowing the 2001 tax cut’s reduction in the top two marginal income tax rates for individual taxpayers to expire as scheduled would affect a large proportion of small-business owners. In fact, only 1.9 percent of filers with any small-business income are projected to face either of the top two income tax rates in 2009. By contrast, more than 14 percent of filers with small-business income claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for low-income workers. Thus, strengthening the EITC could help more than seven times as many small businesses as reducing the top income tax rates.

3. Small Businesses?
The multi-national corporations that have purchased all our elected reps DO NOT LIKE SMALL BUSINESSES. Because some of them can grow in to BIG BUSINESSES that will eat into multi-nationals profits.

Big corporations kill small businesses once they start to enjoy success and growth.

4. I'll say it again....
...if a small business owner that makes $1M/yr is hurt by paying their fair share of taxes, they are making that money off the backs of the poor and deserve to fail! FYI, the majority of small businesses don't even come close to making $1M/yr, so this bill would help the vast majority of them by stimulating the economy.

So, why are republicans not defending the vast majority of small businessmen? Because they are not the ones giving them millions of campaign dollars. It's the businesses making $1M+/yr and large corporations doling out the cash to buy unfair tax rates, and the republican congressmen and women are complicit in aiding them avoid paying their fair share.

This is why I could never, ever vote for any republican. I see them as American traitors. I have zero respect for anyone who votes republican, and that includes relatives and neighbors. Don't come around trying to sell your snake oil to me or you will find it oozing out your ass! You are liars, cheats, and ignorant. Period!

6. It is not 'small' business who quickens their greedy hearts. It's 'big' corporations.
