Perry puts Wingnut's Panties in a wad over tuition |
|
While searching online, to figure out why Perry would give a shit about giving children of illegal aliens an in-state tuition break, i ended up on the dark side and read these comments:
Re: Perry's In-state Tuition Break
"Well, Perry is completely off my list now. He’s down there with Myth."
"W all over again, no thank you. It’s Palin for me."
"This was just disgraceful. Looks like Perry will NEVER get it on immigration."
"Now Perry says that I have no heart. You no (sic) what Perry no longer has? My support for the nomination. Screw him."
"Channeling Lindsay effing Graham is not the road to the nomination, Rick."
"It’s becoming more & more obvious that Perry doesn’t have a BRAIN"
"Perry’s done. Palin is the only person who can save us from Romney now."
"Perry looks like a used car salesman and sounds just like every other pos the gop has propped up. No Mitt, no Perry."
"You are absolutely right! Sarah palin 2012 or bust"
P.S. Why did Perry do this? My best guess votes and future votes(Dream Act). Mexican American population in Texas is 37%

1. How is TX not in play given that 37% and the anti-immigrant fervor of the Rethugs? |

8. Ron Paul, also a Texan, may play decently here in TX. But make no mistake... |
|
Republicans do their duty and vote Republican. And they vote more regularly than Democrats and others.
It'll be interesting to see how Ron Paul does here, for the nomination. But then, they'll figure he can't win the general election, so they may vote for Perry, anyway.
Also, don't forget the factor of wanting "our guy" in the White House.

as long as he gets the nomination, he can pocket the votes of the true believers no matter what. They aren't going anywhere. He can take them for granted. But the 30-percenters aren't enough to win the general election, and so he needs to pick up some more votes - hispanic / latino votes would be good for him. He is trying to throw a bone.

for him to actually care about a human being. It's against his character. Especially coupled with the fact his buddy's company stood to gain.
Same with tuition.

is a requirement for wingnuts. Given where they keep their brains, it helps to preserve that twisted thinking . . .
