He was bad enough before - but now that he's got a little encouragement, he's going to be insufferable.

1. I think he's bucking to be someone's running mater. However, I think Rubio has...
that spot all sewn up, no matter who wins. :hi:

8. Perhaps I should have clarified. I meant whichever "viable" candidate wins.
I think the field has narrowed to Perry and Romney. And who knows, they still may be able to convince Christie to get in. Of the remaining "viable" candidates, I'm almost certain Rubio will be #2.

15. You're probably right
But if they wanted an intelligent Tea Bagger, I think Mike Lee should be their choice. He somehow can be far-right while being articulate. Go figure.

2. IMHO, Cain could very well be their nominee.
I believe Cain is going to steadily gain traction, and in the end be in the top two or three. He's a self-made man who is not nearly as crazy as most of the rest of them, and he projects an aura of strength and confidence.

Of course, there's that Kenyan birth certificate thing.

3. Eh...
I really, really can't see the GOP nominating anyone except a White man this year.

4. The GOPers would never nominate a black guy.
The hard-core racists among them (of which there are many) will not let that happen. They are letting Cain participate so they can say they aren't racist, but he has no chance.

13. They'll let him be VP and if he gets elected they'll immediately
move to change the Constitution to make succession from President to Speaker of the House.

24. He's plenty crazy . . .
I think he just uses rounder tones to express his inner lunatic.

He's also the candidate of the "Big Business wants to shove a rusty pipe up your ass" party, which is unlikely to play well this season.

5. I want every one of these nuts on display down to the Republican convention . . .
During which I'm looking forward to "floor fights" involving folding chairs and 10-foot-tall state banners.

And in the meantime, while the Republican candidates are doing their best bag-of-ferrets imitation, they're also trotting out a deeply troubling conglomeration of oddball, radical proposals. The more the American people see of this crew, the better for Barack Obama.

6. Huh? Thats a Good thing!
Remember, the more chaos and confusion in the gop camp the better for Obama...and right now Obama needs all the help he can get seeing as how this year we are voting for center-right candidate vs a right candidate.

9. Cain is there "token" candidate to make them feel good.

Herman Cain provides cover for them. And when you see women and/or minorities who do this.... those are the worst kinds of people in the world.

Sarah Palin
Michelle Bachmann
Herman Cain
Clarence Thomas

I just don't get it.

12. This poll has a high stench
Smells like a Rovian tactic to me. To get rid of Perry. I'm sure the Bush family rigged it with their Jeb's Florida cronies.
