I live in NJ where once double dipping was the norm about 10 to 15 years ago but now its against the law in our state to collect a retirement check and work for the state.I retired in June of this year after 25 years as a law enforcement Officer I went back to work part time as a security guard in a private company...
...article and premise is whack. Are they suggesting that if someone retires from the military and goes on to become a teacher, they're not eligible for their pension and paycheck?
What the hell difference does it make who's paying them to work: the government or a private company?
If they work, they should get paid. They earned their pensions.
