WHITE HOUSE PETITION: Prosecute Goldman Sachs and others on Wall St. who broke our economy...
Edited on Mon Oct-03-11 01:07 AM by yurbud
The White House says they will respond to anything on their site that gets 5,000 signatures. Let's see what they say about this.

get this to the Occupy Wall Street folks too.

...through intentional fraud.

Investigate, prosecute, and imprison those at Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street firms and banks whose fraud led to our economic collapse.

Evidence already in the congressional record shows Goldman Sachs knowingly lied to most of their clients about the value of mortgage based investments while letting a few of the very wealthiest in on their scam.

Fines and grants of criminal immunity you are currently pushing for Wall St. are not enough to stop them from harming us again, and send a message that America has two kinds of justice: one for the rich and one for the rest.

Killing bin Laden and other terrorists shows you are willing to protect us from external threats; we need you to protect us from the internal threat of these economic terrorists by prosecuting them for their crimes.

1. Really - five thousand signatures?
Edited on Mon Oct-03-11 01:38 AM by truedelphi
Tim Geithner has lied to Congress probably six times, but definitely three times.

Lying even once while testifying to Congress is an impeachable offense. I would so love to see that crook stripped of his title "Secretary of the Treasury."

Are there 4,999 more people like me out there?

5. I thought about adding ''and fire everyone in your admin who ever worked for them or...
was instrumental in deregulating the finance industry,'' but maybe that's worth a petition of its own.

10. if Obama truly felt the pain of the Occupy Wall St. folks, this would be a good way to show it.
and he wouldn't have to get the permission of the GOP to do it.
