Yes, I watched the "Debate".....

and it made me feel creepy.

These candidates simply lie, and I notice that the moderators didn't "correct" anything
claimed at all.

I don't recall that during the Democratic Debates.....

more like the moderators would try to find ways to fuck with each candidate.

Again, I was creep-ed out, and heard a bunch of bullshit and nothing more.

Bottomline message heard,

GET RID OF OBAMA, period!

4. Romney doesn't mind going to war with China.....
Edited on Tue Oct-11-11 09:25 PM by FrenchieCat
if that's what it takes. :eyes:

and Cain wants someone like Greenspan for Fed Chair. :eyes:

And Bachman has 26 kids, and they all pull themselves up by their bootstraps
and she won a straw poll. Oh yeah, and Obama is a job killer!. :eyes:

and Newt believes that any Republican candidate would make a better president than Obama. :eyes:

Huntsman made jokes; something about not attacking Romney's religion, and him thinking the 999
cain plan being the price of a pizza.

Perry was there, but I forgot what he said.

15. "and Newt believes that any Republican candidate would make a better president than Obama"
That part didn't bother me. Most of the time in both Democrat and Republican debates, the candidates pledge to support anyone who gets the nomination on stage.

3. I tried to watch the last two, but I just couldn't watch this...
Yes... all they do is lie and they don't even try hard to conceal it. It is infuriating to see them be allowed to do so without questioning.

Infuriating doesn't even begin to cover it, because so many Americans will swallow it, hook, line and sinker.

5. I simply don't remember the Candidates in the Democratic debates
being allowed to just spout just anything!

In fact, I remember Pres. Obama being asked if he was patriotic or some bullshit like that.

6. They went after them a couple times...
...but every time they did the candidates talked over or interrupted them. The brown-shirt way.

7. Now they are doing the fact checks on Bloomberg....
and showing how many lies the Candidates said.....

Romney said Obamacare increases spending by a trillion dollars,
but the facts show that Obamacare reduces the deficit by 146 Billion dollars.

BIG ASS DIFFERENCE!

and they'd do their jobs. Charlie Rose? Come on! Why were they so silent?

11. I don't blame you.
And the OP's comments are right on the mark.

Most disturbing to me was Gingrich. His tone is inevitably sneering, as though he has disdain for half the country (as indeed he apparently does), but I felt particular contempt when he implied Chris Dodd and Barney Frank were guilty of criminal activity. He truly lives in a bizarro world where the authors of financial reform legislation are the crooks and he, Gingrich, a serial adulterer, goes about talking about values.

He'll never be president, though. In fact I expect he'll never even make dogcatcher at this point.

14. By the way, Frenchie Cat,
I'm sure you haven't missed that we've taken your sig line to heart. Little is spoken of Obama here anymore, because OWS is rapidly taking over the country. If we continue apace. by the time the elections come, it really will be a blip. We aren't looking to Obama anymore. Or anyone else in that Washington bubble.
