4. IMO the odds that you could effect the outcome of a primary are slim.
And not worth the effort.

It would have to be extremely organized to make it work.

The primaries is another factor when it involves 50 different states. Making it even more difficult to organize.

I think the regular primary voters will make it difficult enough within the Republican Party since they have now switched to proportional voting.

5. SC is first (well, almost), small, and Republican. Makes sense!
Crossing over can be a reasonable strategy.

7. Cain

A hefty percent of reliable Rightists will refuse to vote if Cain is their candidate.

8. Cain is the favorite of a conservative friend from high school
Voting for him would make my buddy happy. he's a real long shot, but decent singin voice.

Although I find it hard to imagine there's no pizza......

9. Republicans think running a Black man will steal some African-American votes from Obama.

They completely fail to understand that actually makes them look even more racist.

They tried it against him in 2004. Obama got 70% of the vote statewide in a state that is split pretty even between Republicans and Democrats.

They tried something in the similar vein in 2008 by picking a female VP to pick up the Hillary Clinton crowd. Hate radio told their followers to jump on the PUMA bandwagon giving PUMA the appearance of millions. The only people to fall for it was apparently the McCain campaign!

I suspect they are falling for their propaganda again with the Teabaggers.

I understand we taxpayers are going to be footing the bill for it.

As for who to vote for, pick your poison. Word has it Perry is a shoe-in here. I'm half tempted to vote for ol' Crazy Eyes, although I've heard one shouldn't sell her short.
