1. He'll wipe whoever they pick right off the debate stage. It won't even be funny.

7. The problem is the rabid stupidity of this country
remember how Kerry won all the debates against Bush? A big dumb part of this country doesn't like a smart person showing up their candidate. How dare them they think. Uppity, elitists.

That's what I worry about, the dems keep looking at the candidates and thinking we can take any of them, they are all stupid….

that scares me because we have a problem with people voting stupid….

4. i'm sure they are seeing the styles of possible nominees
Romney and Perry are the only ones that matter on this. Romney can kind of come off as an unlikable arrogant jackass and Obama would do well to bring that out.

Perry is pretty weak. and Obama can't come off as Romney did by appearing too tough against him. just stick to facts , stay on your own message etc. don't do the Romney "it's my turn, you had your turn" crap. don't want people feeling sorry for the fool.

5. WOW! I sure hope you all are correct...
I see a very naive & misinformed public that is unable to see what we do when it comes to the nutty Republican field. The SAD but TRUE part is the Republican Party has +45% of the public on their side regardless of the issue simply due to religion. I know some of these people! Despite a college degree two of my conservative friends are Evangelical Christians & they have told me that the Republicans could allow Wall Street to rob them blind & they would continue voting for them until the Democratic Party ended their protection of abortion & same sex marriage...As well as a few other Christian based issues. I sit amazed at how mythology rules the (non)thinking of people but it does & that same (non)thinking is killing the middle class! If religion was removed from the political debate the Republican Party would be much different today & the country's middle class would be leaps & bounds better off than it is. When you have so many in the middle class voting against themselves for religious reasons it will be almost impossible to change things. SAD!!

8. I think the pain of the economy could be the tipping point
if the Democrats get into high gear and hammer home that the Republicans aren't doing anything about it.

These bus tours by the POTUS are vital to helping get the message out. Anyone who relies on what they get from the MSM on television will pretty much be lied to and completely unaware of the GOP's obstructionism.

11. Not to be a downer but we also have to worry about...
someone like Nader co-opting OWS & running as a 3rd party! I can see it coming! Folks will think they are going to win & vote Nader & we will be back to 2000 where a NUT gets elected or chosen.

22. Well, if people are fool enough to fall for that again, punishment awaits
in the form of one of those wacky contenders who debated on CNN last night.

9. The GOP should be embarrassed to put up such an ignorant delusional bench.
But they're not because that's the best they've got.

19. Even the incredibly white newsreaders here in Australia were nothing short of baffled
by whiter than white Rick Perry calling Herman Cain "brother."

Romney putting his hand on Perry's shoulder left them gobsmacked. The newsreaders here actually compared the debate to the wild animals running free in Ohio.
