2. Got rid of "Ask Don't Tell"

3. Gave it his all against the behemoth PTB on healthcare

4. Got rid of "preexisting conditions" stipulation and gave health care to thousands upon thousands of young people.

5. Slayed the monster Osama Bin Laden and tracked down other top Al Qaeda leaders

6. Conducted a smart "war" and facilitated the collapse of Gaddafi regime

7. Helped our US auto makers survive

8. Is pushing, against the numbers, for a job bill

9. Remained classy, calm and dignified for us and the world throughout

10. Stopped blaming Bush, despite knowing most inherited problems were all Bush's fault


If only he had kept his promise for transparency in the health care debate...he'd be PREFECT

2. I love him too which is why

he can break my heart.

But I can, without equivocation, rejoice in the victories you've noted. Thanks for that because it reminds me to keep some perspective. Our government was designed to move slowly (sometimes that's a serious feature, not a flaw) so to consider that list of achievements, after less than 3 year is remarkable. This is the sort of agenda that history will look upon kindly.

he covered up the Bush era war crimes, sides constantly and consistently with Wall Street over the American People, gave tax cuts to billionaires, escalated a pointless war for profit in Afghanistan, signed multiple free-trade agreements that will cost many US jobs, etc. There's nothing to love about any of that. He's a politician, a pro-corporate politician, who in his policies acts much much much more like a republican than a Dem. Sure he's better than the GOP nutjobs running in 2012, but that's not really saying much now is it?. I am terribly disappointed in Obama - he has betrayed progressives in a monumental fashion.
