Joe Biden doesn't get the credit he deserves . |
|
If you let the media tell it he's a laughing stock or generally unserious but if you actually listen to him he's really a pretty good speaker and he knows what he's talking about. He's funny, dynamic and knows the middle class. I could see myself voting for him in 2016 if he decides to run.

6. +1000 to the OP. And the talk about replacing him was just ridiculous. |
|
He's great talking to the people, and he can say things in a way the MSM would excoriate the President for doing. This is a very good POTUS/VPOTUS duo.

15. he's not playing with a full deck |
|
there are moments when Biden can sound thoughtful and intelligent, but there are other moments when he says things that are highly inappropriate. the part of the brain that stops someone from saying things that are inappropriate is not working well with this man. he really is full of himself. he really doesn't help the campaign at all, while being an accident waiting to happen. if i was obama, i would lock biden in a closet until the campaign was over. bring a cardboard cutout of him to the convention.

I am a big fan of Joe Biden. He has carried the Democratic banner for nearly 35 years. I recall when he was running for President, he stated clearly that Pakistan is the real issue and he is exactly right. He was the second poorest Senator who has never been in it for the money. He takes a train to work every day and never flaunts his position in life. He made a statement once during his run for the Presidency...He said that there are some things that are worth losing an election over. It was in reference to taking care of veterans when they return home. I especially appreciate the fact that he doesn't take any crap from Republicans.
As far as his "gaffs" go...I can forgive him. We've all made them...we just don't have the media following us around waiting for us to make a mistake. Anyway...someone that makes gaffs is also someone that speaks his mind honestly.

But he would never be my choice for POTUS.
For the person above who mentioned that Hillary would have been better, I believe that Hillary is doing much more good as SoS, so she is exactly where she should be, IMO.
My 2016 vote for POTUS will unequivocally be reserved for Elizabeth Warren, unless she decides not to be a candidate.

19. If Biden needs credit, he should ask Capital One and Bank of America for it. |

They have given him more than enough money for his campaigns through the years.
