saved me from a brown bear attack when he was 13 months old.

Didn't matter to me whether he was a puppy or a dog, he put his 90 pounds on the line against 600 pounds of bear for me.

He watches over my grandchildren with a quiet confidence that nobody challenges.

Domestic dogs are one of our best creations.

I read somewhere that Portuguese Water Dogs mature slowly, so maybe he is still in the puppy stage for his breed. I don't know, but I'll bet Sasha and Malia still treat him as a puppy. I know I treated the family dog like a puppy when I was a little girl.

I'm sure he gets lots of love and attention, and he's a real cuddler.
