CNN has been reporting about the Cain story tonight. And they're going to stay on the story...
This is what happened when Cain was confronted. They showed this on CNN:

"I am not going to comment on that," he told Politico when asked specifically about one of the woman's claims.

When asked if he had ever been accused of harassment by a woman, he responded, Politico said, by asking the reporter, "Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?"

This has legs!

4. Translation: The GOP has had their fun, but it's time for Cain to go away.
Can't have him actually being a viable threat to win the nomination, but he did give the GOP a little bit of "See? We're not racist!" cover for the gullible.

5. Yup. If it is a fake story, it didn't come from the Dems. It would've come from Perry or another
Repub.

15. Who has the most to gain from this story NOW?
It is Perry.

16. I disagree with your assessment
The ones gaining from this story now are the media. It is the typical cycle of build up one candidate then tear them down. It's about the news cycle and keeping stories alive to hopefully keep interest then sell advertising. It has nothing to do with journalism just sensationalism.

25. Of course you have a point there too.
The story will sell quite a few newspapers and boost ratings of TV news shows.

21. I agree. Romney, on the other hand, would WANT Cain still in it so he and Perry can slug it out to
be the anti-Romney. But it looks to be a true story no matter who got it out there.

6. I wonder who tipped them off? I'm gonna bet it was one of the other campaigns.
But whoever did it, let's hope Herman goes the way of Caribou Barbie pretty soon. :hi:

23. HA! The Freepers called it. I was reading there to see how they were feeling about this
and sure enough, they said Geraldo would be all over this. GOOD!

Yeah-the media is waiting for him to maybe have to say something today at 12:30pm today.

18. Damn! I was kinda hoping that Cain...
would be the nominee...I guess it will be Romney after all.

Romney is the most sane one besides Huntsman but Romney is the biggest political chameleon in my lifetime!

Does anyone else think Cain would be better for Obama than Romney? Or do you have a different opinion?
