FYI, The NRA (National Restaurant Association) Is Very Right Wing
Edited on Mon Oct-31-11 09:07 AM by Yavin4
They are a very powerful lobbying group. They fight any kind of national healthcare system, and they fight any raises in the minimum wage.

The restaurant industry is one of the main drivers for wealth disparity in the U.S.

No Liberal would ever get access to any inside information at that group.

1. Mrs Auggie owned a cafe for several years
No way she could afford to pay workers more than minimum wage except for maybe one employee. For Mom and Pop joints it just isn't feasible. Corporations with franchises are another story, and you can bet those are the ones backing this lobby.

Why we need (partially) publicly-funded health care.
