Rachel's takedown of Perry changed my mind.
Earlier today I was convinced that the implosion of Herman Cain's campaign was an opening for Rick Perry to make a comeback:

Yeah, forget that. Nemmind. Rachel Maddow's evisceration of Perry's cuddling with the tiny syrup bottle demonstrated that there is no comeback there. I am gobsmacked by the realization that both Cain and Perry have wrecked their presidential campaigns in the same day.

8. You forgot also selling a ton of his books!
Which I think was the ONLY reason Cain decided to run. Many in the GOP field run just to sell their crap to the gullible on the Right...Sarah Palin mastered this fleecing of the gullible long enough to make MILLIONS before even the drones on the Right figured out she is not that smart.

9. The media took down Howard Dean--and they will NOT take down Perry
I just watched "The Daily Rundown" and the reporter said that Perry was just feeding off of the crowd and they loved it.

Had the media handled Dean's speech that way, he would have been the nominee. Rachael is in the minority on this one--she is correct--but alone in the sea of righwingmediabigfatliars. And for some reason, the voting public cannot think for themselves without media interpretation.
