Seems like they should have learned their lesson now :)

People are INDIVIDUALS, they are NOT their gender or skin color.

2. Perhaps if they didn't use....

3. Our people are better.
The voters are in the process of figuring this out, I hope. The "clown car" debates are definitely helping delineate the crazy.

4. Super-cheap designer fashion knockoffs
A few winters back, when I had the flu and couldn't do anything for a couple of days but lie on the couch and watch dumb daytime television, I caught a lot of some show where their two resident experts would run around a mall with a random young woman, buying bits and pieces to emulate the look of a designer outfit she had indicated she'd like to have for a job interview or a vacation.

And the creepy thing about it was that each of the individual pieces might be more or less a match for the original -- red turtleneck, houndstooth skirt, thin black belt, whatever -- but the finished outfits looked nothing like a designer piece. They looked like something you'd throw together in an hour at the mall.

That's what these GOP candidates remind me of. They capture some of the superficial characteristics of the original, but the finished product is just a cheap knockoff.
