So we won't have a public option and the private health insurance sector will pick up some 30 million more policy holders. Now that for profit private health insurance companies are the only option for non-elderly, non-poor and non-disabled:
1. Didn't we just set up another too big to fail industry while at the same time legislating restrictions on their ability to make big profits? 2. With no public option ready to go if the insurance companies decide we have restricted their profits too much, will we bail them out or will we let the last insurance company standing monopolize the market?
If you think the insurance companies were strong before wait until we put them in a position where they have to succeed or hundreds of millions of people go uninsured. Look at their stocks the past few months. This was a gift to big business and a loss to Americans.

You have Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe calling Dems the party that just gave a gift to big insurance and big pharma.

plus put millions on the health care dole - paid for by the working poor and middle class. So my health care costs will go up. This is what Obama wanted.

Wow, must be a great bill. How many of you supporters of this bill have health insurance companies in your stock portfolio? You better go check your mutual funds, I'll bet you do. Enjoy your gains.

It is unfathomable to be why the giant negatives in this bill were not mor seriously considered in this whole "debate."
Howard Dean was correct. We have further entrenched a system that is fundamentalist flawed,
Compared to that, the "benefits" of this bill pale in cpmparison,

Thanks for playing. Too bad the truth will be very painful for us and an utter political and policy failure.
