Obama--lead or lose--well, obviously he's leading
since he is the first president to pass massive health care reform bill which will insure over 30 million people and reform the insurance industry. Truman proposed it, JFK, Carter, Clinton--but none succeeded except for President Obama.

4. that is a good point. I think that, however, Obama can be lauded for getting it further
than any other president.

3. Keep spewing those talking points.
This bill won't insure 30 million people. At best the subsidies will kick in for 13 or 14 million americans, the rest... well do you think that they choose to run around with no health insurance at all?

And, what will be passed in a few weeks is NOTHING like what Truman proposed or even Clinton proposed.

Just because it says "Health Care Reform" doesn't mean that you are comparing apples to apples.

We're paying them full value for whoever gets covered and mandating everyone to buy their product, what the fuck do you think was won?

I would rather it be successful. We shall see. None of us know, for better or worse, how it will turn out. Hoping for the best.

You get to be ass raped by an insurance company owned pony, and then presented with a bill for said insurance companies services. You do not get to keep the pony, but you do have to pay the bill. And that's not all! You get all this with the connivance of your Government.

15. This bill is HARDLY "massive" HCR. It's a giveaway to the Big Health INSURANCE Industry.

You must be too young to understand what all those Democrats you mentioned were TRULY seeking.
