Andre Bauer gets Huckabee's backing
Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer is being backed by former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee in the GOP race for governor.

Huckabee, who served as governor of Arkansas before finishing second in S.C. Republican presidential primary in 2008, endorsed Bauer in a fundraising letter for the lieutenant governor and Huck-PAC, Huckabee's political action committee.

"Andre Bauer is a champion we can believe in," Huckabee wrote. "He has fought for the people of South Carolina since the day he was elected to the House of Representatives in 1996. As Lt. Governor, he has ruled against every single proposed tax increase, saving the people of South Carolina $2 billion."

The other Republicans in the race are: U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett; Lexington Rep. Nikki Haley; S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster; and Berkeley Sen. Larry Grooms.

Huckabee also recently endorsed Rep. Rex Rice's bid to replace Gresham Barrett in the 3rd Congressional District.

2. Only people who aren't serious about obtaining power
The currency of the political realm is pretty much the same currency as everywhere else. The only difference is that in order to transfer money to others you need to have a PAC.

3. Amen
I'll bet if I formed a PAC that contained a series of very general statements I could get 1 million dollars in a year with no effort

1. Opposed to the way our government wastes your tax dollars on useless programs (That statement could apply to any program depending on your point of view)

2. To elect candidates that will return our country to the principles it was founded on (again, I haven't stated anything of substance. people will read into it what they want)

3. To elect people that will represent what the American. (piffle)

4. To move America forward by supporting people that represent you. (pablum)

4. As long as nobody bothers to ask how you plan on doing all of that, you're golden
I suggest calling it the "America Fuck Yeah PAC" on account of Tom Tancredo already took "Team America PAC".
