1. It's been a long, hard fight.
The pubs are on cspan now still doing the same old thing, they are digging up every old obstruction they can find and droning on and on. But pass it we will.

6. "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is going to take on a whole new meaning this year.....

(Remember, the Grinch wasn't successful either.)

Welcome, Christmas, bring your cheer. Cheer to all Whos far and near. Christmas Day is in our grasp so long as we have hands to clasp. Christmas Day will always be just as long as we have we.

awwww....

Victoria Reggie Kennedy (R) widow of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) smiles while Sen. John Kerry (D-MA)(L),gets a hug from Sen.Christopher Dodd (D-CT)(C), after the Senate passed a procedural vote on health are reform on December 21, 2009 in Washington, DC. The Senate passed the first of three crucial procedural votes on health care by a 60 to 40 margin.

3. LOL
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

Lets be clear, the 'progressives' are the losers in this deal. This is an entirely private sector solution with huge taxpayer subsidies to the insurance companies. Soc Sec / Medicare were not left to be run by the industry, they were enacted to counter the failures of the industry.

5. Sorry but having some progressives (certainly not me or many others) egos bruised
does not make them losers. Living up the the progressive value of helping those who can't help themselves is THE core principle.

4. Yep.....
..... and perhaps the barometer of whether something is progressive should NOT be "are the progressives happy" but "is the GOP miserable."

10. When those in these pics here start hurling themselves off tall buildings then it's progressive
enough for me. But not until then.
