Photos: The Obama Presidency December 24th, 2009
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden arrives for the final vote on the healthcare reform bill at the U.S. Capitol December 24, 2009 in Washington, DC. If passed, the bill as passed by the Senate would provide healthcare coverage to 31 million uninsured Americans and would represent the largest overhaul in healthcare in decades.

The Senate passed the $871 billion legislation in a 60-to-39 along party-lines in the first Christmas Eve vote since 1895.

What do you do when the stress of passing two comprehensive health care bills through Congress gets to be too much? You whistle your way off to vacation!

2. Nice photos
Even though most of the photos revolved around HCR, the picture that struck me was the family walked to the helicopter. The older daughter is so tall -- she is almost as tall as her father and she's still growing.

10. She's having a real growth spurt!
She looked little girlish still in January. Now she looks like a teen. What a difference 11 months make in a child.

5. Mark Knoller said that when Obama offered to his hand
to one of the saluting soldiers, he didn't extend his hand.

12. They may not be allowed to break their salute to POTUS,
unlike the AF1 pilot. If the guy works Presidential detail, I'm sure there's a reason he didn't extend his hand.
