Rep. James Clyburn's rebuttal to Peter King's criticism of Obama's (lack of) reaction was perfect:
"I think that the President, in his response, (to the attempted terrorist attack) is doing exactly what he SHOULD do. I think that in so many instances, these terrorists get more benefit from the REACTION they cause than from the action they take. And so I believe that for the President to be very measured in his reactions, not elevating this thing to the point that it would be satisfactory to TERRORISTS is exactly the way to do it."-Clyburn on Face the Nation today.

he may not have THIS country's best interests at heart-especially the way he's trying to scare us ala the Bush days. HE'S terrorizing us as much as the terrorists are.

Getting their victim all worked up.

And aren't we taught as kids to ignore bullies and taunters?

The Repubs. are all over tv today telling everyone that the terrorists are out to get us, we should be very afraid, and Obama should be out speaking to us TELLING us that "we're still at war with radical Islam and we gotta win this thing." :eyes:

Glad to see some praise for this President from Mr. Clyburn or any member of the CBC. That happens more often than it doesn't, but you'd never guess it from what you read here on DU.
