1. Very cool!
Though I had to snicker when I saw that Sarah Palin wasn't selected under the Maverick category for 2008. Heh heh...

K&R!

16. They are
Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games which can trace their lineage back into the 70's but really got their "legs" in the 90's.

Easily identifiable examples would include "Neverwinter Nights" (1991), Ultima Online (1997), Everquest (1999), World of Warcraft (1994) and Asheron's Call (1999).

17. It seems the chart is honoring WoW
After being released in 2004, World of Warcraft took off in 2005 to become the defining game in the genre after drawing in millions and firmly establishing MMORPGs in "mainstream" culture.

18. That may indeed have been their intent
but I think they needed a little more clarity specific to your reference on WoW's role in 2005 rather than seeming to imply that was the beginning.

But let's face it, I'm just picking at nits!

21. Generally speaking, I glance over them occasionally...
a lot depends on where they are from/publication.

I thought this one summed it up rather well, and format made it a breeze to go through...:D
