Can we build a safeguard prompt for the Recommend /Unrecommend feature?
So of us idiots screw up and press the wrong damn button all the time.

Perhaps we could install something along the lines of the poll voting feature that prompts us and tells us what we are doing. Something like this:

You have Recommended the thread. If you are an idiot and pressed the Unrecommended button by mistake, press cancel NOW. If you are smart and never make mistakes press enter NOW.

You have Unrecommended the thread. If you are an idiot and pressed the Recommend button by mistake, press cancel NOW. If you are smart and never make mistakes press enter NOW.

1. If this is a big problem, we could just let people undo their selection after-the-fact.
The other option is to ditch the unrec function. Honestly, I don't understand all the whining about unrecs. (And yes, I called it whining.) But I'm tired of it, and the easiest way to get rid of the whining would be to get rid of the function.

2. Can we simply move the two choices farther apart?
I am in no way whining about the feature, just the mechanics of making the selection. I have selected the wrong choice many times.

A positive visual feedback on what we choose, and an option of correcting our response would be a significant improvement.

3.  Red thumb down green thumb up would work well for me
Is that doable?

:)
