The Alert button doesn't work for me. Is this a subliminal message that my alerts suck?

Serious question: ever since the checkbox alert screen was implemented I can't alert successfully. After clicking on the submit button the dreaded "Denied Request" screen appears --and yes, I'm logged in when this happens. Any ideas on why it would behave this way?

1. This sounds like a glitch.

I'll get Elad to check in and see if he can figure out the problem.

2. That should only happen if you're logged out

so I'm not sure what the problem is. I made a small change though that may help. Give it a try and let me know what happens.

4. Yeah, looks like the system thinks you're logged out.

And this only happens AFTER you hit submit? Have you tried logging out and logging back in?

5. Logged out , logged in, same thing happened.

This time I chose a different reason, just in case that mattered.

I seem to have all other rights of logged in members such as posting, recommending, and searching. I was able to alert on posts before the new system.

It's not a big issue for me but I thought I'd bring it to your attention in case others are encountering the same problem.
