Are the changes to deleted posts still on the way?

Specifically, the change where the poster could still see the post along with a reason for deletion? If we're going to keep the rules and moderation as is, this change would go a long way toward clarifying how the rules are actually enforced.

However, since the plan you mention was announced, we have had some new (we think better) ideas for dealing with post deletions. We are still working on this, but I can tell you that our new ideas do still include notifying people and letting them see the text of their posts when they run afoul of the rules.

2. One more suggestion: we could leave "deleted message" in the My Posts list

Since messages just disappear, it's easy to miss that you've even had a post deleted. Assuming the goal is to correct behavior, we should probably make these a bit more conspicuous to the poster.
