The fatally wounded Deputy is a young, female Officer; just recently was married and has/had a new baby....

Sheriff Kelly is a life-long Democrat....a good man...you can feel his pain when he speaks of his lost Officer....

(CNN) -- A sheriff's deputy was shot and killed Saturday after responding to reports of gunfire at a trailer park in western Ohio, the sheriff said.

A second law enforcement officer also was shot at the Enon Beach trailer park in suburban Springfield.

His condition is serious, but he is expected to live, said Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly.

Video from CNN affiliate WDTN shows the officer being shot. He falls to the ground and rolls before other officers help him to get out of the line of fire.

1. This video is my husband's. It was a sad, sad day here in

Central Ohio. We had recently gone to the Sheriff's banquet & met this deputy. Sheriff Kelly is one-of-a-kind. He was the one who pulled the other officer who was shot out of the line of fire. My husband spent a few hours hiding behind a tree.

I rewatched it and yes indeed, Sheriff Kelly was at point. ....Where I work, near the scene at the next county over from Clark County...I heard the " drop tones" call..........I think my heart stopped briefly.
