GOOD NEWS! Can-You-Hear-Us-Now-A-Thon Re: Net Neutality
We did it! Free Press and our allies have gathered more than 2,000,000 signatures in support of Net Neutrality. Now we’re taking them directly to the FCC’s doorstep.

Over the next two days, volunteers and allies in the SavetheInternet.com Coalition will be delivering 50,000 or more petitions every hour until we’ve handed over all 2 million. It’s our very own petition delivery marathon!

Check Out the “Can-You-Hear-Us-Now-a-Thon” for Yourself

We’re documenting each delivery at our “Can-You-Hear-Us-Now-a-Thon” website. With this massive delivery event, we’re sending an unmistakable message:

“The FCC can't ignore the voices of millions of Americans and must pass real and enforceable Net Neutrality rules when commissioners vote next week.”

While you might not be able to join us in person at the FCC today or tomorrow, here are a few things you can do online to be a part of this important action:

Visit the "Can-You-Hear-Us-Now-a-Thon," watch the deliveries every hour, and write your words of support for the marathoners;

Spread the Word by telling your friends and family using e-mail and social networks. Our twitter hashtags are #NetNeutrality and #HearUs;

Help Us Get More Signatures By Forwarding This E-mail. We’ll deliver all new signatures in person to the FCC!

All too often, officials in Washington think that they make policy exclusively for a Beltway audience of lobbyists, lawyers and legislators. At every chance, we must remind them whom they really work for -- the millions of people like you and me who demand real Net Neutrality.

With your help, we can make sure the FCC gets the message.

Thanks,

Misty Perez, Libby Reinish, Timothy Karr and the rest of the Free Press crew.

If you already signed - thanks. If not, please do. Let's aim for 5,000,000!!!

5. I've seen press releases on there before.
But I'm by no means an authority.

8. Do you think it will matter?
Don't get me wrong. I think it's great. I just am skeptical that anyone in Washington gives half a damn about what we the people want. Whether that's 10 people, 2 million people, or 2 billion people. I kinda feel like they're gonna do what they want to anyway. :(
