1. Thanks for bringing this. I'm sick of seeing them demonized. Divide and conquer.
It's part of the push to privatization that is dangerous. Because that always separates the common purpose to the commercial.

The more privatization, the more corruption swept under the rug. And the same ones that want these people off the job are the ones who vote against whistle blowers.

Honest employees who tell the truth about abuses are not permitted in corporatized systems. Bad for business and there is a fiefdom set up where the boss must be pleased and the public be damned.
