Woman pokes boyfriend 'over Facebook'
The police report, published by The Smoking Gun, does not say why Davenport was trying to stop McVey from seeing his Facebook page.

McVey told police she followed Davenport downstairs and continued arguing with him.

She said she accidentally cut Davenport with a knife she took from the kitchen during their argument.

1. There are pokes on facebook...
But they're electronic...

And not done with a knife.

:scared:

2. My darling wife needled me occasionally on my FarmVille updates...
...and I did try to be more considerate of other people's space on Facebook, not posting so many status updates related to games.

Still, some of her jabs cracked me up. Like when I won the "Cat Lady" Ribbon on FV. She'd say, "Cat Lady, huh? It figures. FARMVILLE!"

4. Just tell your facebook friends to hide all farmville
It's their own fault if they can't figure out how to hide stuff from their newsfeed.

I have about 70 or 80 apps hidden or blocked, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

5. She did learn how to do that eventually
Made her time on Facebook more enjoyable without having to block her own hubby.

6. Oh, good! You know, your post has
made me worry, just how people on my facebook list are not blocking my farmville updates...? The thought makes me cringe. I certainly don't want to bore anyone who does not play farmville.

Whenever someone just joined facebook, I tell them how to hide and un-hide.

For anyone who wants to know how to hide MafiaWars, astrology, angel hugs, quizzes, etc....

Move the cursor over the right side of the post until you see a blue X. Click on the X. Click on "hide all farmville" or whatever annoying app/game it is, whether it be patriotic prayers, unicorn farts, or "How hot am I".

To Unhide:
Go to Latest News.
Scroll to the bottom, until you see "Edit Options".
From there, you can click on "pages" "apps" or "friends" to re-add them to your newsfeed.

7. Good luck with that. I still have to tell my dad...
...over and over again, that unless something is on the page he sees when he clicks "profile", I can't see it. He keeps telling me to look at something somebody "posted on my facebook" and can't quite seem to get the distinction between a news feed and a wall (and he's a PhD, though admittedly in humanities).
