Christie and Bloomberg really stepped in it, didn't they? I've seen several reports |
|
blasting both of them for their incompetency, ignorance and arrogance.
Couldn't happen to two nicer guys.

95% of the state's roads cleared by Tuesday? My ass. Driving home from work on Monday, what normally takes 15 minutes took over an hour and a half. This was a four lane highway, which only had one lane somewhat cleared each way. A friend of mine is an EMT in North Brunswick. His ambulance crashed TWICE on the way to St. Peters. Furthermore, Christie's got a lot of nerve laying the blame on local communities for failing to properly clear the streets, especially when they've seen massive funding cuts under his tenure, along with his inability to keep the Transportation Trust Fund solvent.

6. Why's Christie getting flak? |
|
Edited on Mon Jan-03-11 11:14 PM by gratuitous
After all, as that great philosopher Clint Eastwood famously said, "A man's got to know his limitations." It seems that Christie, knowing what an incompetent schmuck he is, stayed the hell out of the way when yet another situation arose when he was in over his head. He'll be doing that a lot in the coming years.

Christie gets to look like those mean ol unions killed people, while Blomberg can say the same and launch his bid, the one meant to split the democratic vote the way perot did.
