Wisconsin Set To Disenfranchise Thousands On Eve of Recall Elections

One good indication that Wisconsin Republicans are losing the policy battles in the state is the fact that they've pushed through a bill that would make it significantly more difficult to vote in the upcoming recall elections. Democrats managed to delay the measure on Tuesday, but the bill will eventually pass, likely on Thursday.

The law restricts absentee voting, lengthens residency requirements and requires state-issued photo ID at the polls. The absentee and residency requirements will go into effect before the recall elections, while the photo ID requirements go into effect next year.

3. One judge can stay that, not?
If one judge can't do it, maybe five can.

Civil rights, and a good court case to consider in this regard is "Bush vs. Gore" providing equal protection ...

(Oh damn, in that ruling didn't the Supreme Court redefined U.S. law such that only one person
has so far been granted equal protection under the law regarding having votes counted.)

At the end of the day people realize
atrocities of history are often incribed as law on inception.

This atrocity is the disenfranchising of one political group by another.
Ideals, founding documents, and legal codes trump imposing such inequality.
Once imposed, representational inequalities can be 'positive' feedback loops.
